Gravity helps the yogi explore the balance of effort and release.
Begin the entry to the pose through Arda Muka Svanasana.
INHALE. Step the feet towards the hands. Knees ankles and toes touch.
EXHALE. Drop the hips as if you were going to sit in a chair.
INHALE. Sweep the arm overhead, fingers pointed towards the sky. Attempt to maintain alignment in the spine.
EXHALE. Resist the tendency to widen the knees. Feel gravity pull you downwards as you raise through the arms exploring the force of opposites.
Remain in this pose for 5 breaths.
Drishti towards the thumbs.
EXHALE. Fold forward into Uttanasana.
